Highlights:

• Net operating revenues for the third quarter of 2009 totaled $3.087 billion, a 12.1 percent increase compared with $2.755 billion for the same period in 2008.
• Net income increased $0.65 per share in Q3 2009, compared with $0.53 per share for the same period in 2008.
• Overall net income for Q3 2009 totaled $59.7 million, compared with $50.4 million in last year's third quarter.
• According to the Nashville Business Journal, Thomson Reuters analysts estimated Community Health--the largest publicly traded hospital company in the U.S.--would record earnings estimates of $0.62 per share and revenues of $3 billion.
