SPOTLIGHT: Final rule leaves ICD-10 compliance deadline unchanged

If you were hoping that the deadline for beginning to use ICD-10 codes was going to be moved up, you're out of luck. The deadlines proposed by HHS in January have now become part of a final set of rules governing the roll out. The rules require compliance dates of Jan. 1, 2012 for transactions, and Oct. 1, 2013 for the ICD-10 code set. Article
