Highlights:

• Tenet had a net operating revenue of $2.26 billion for Q3 2009, a 5.7 percent increase from last year's third quarter of $2.14 billion.
• Tenet experienced a net loss of $0.01 in Q3 2009, compared with a net income of $0.22 per share in the third quarter last year.
• Overall, Tenet's net income loss totaled $3 million for Q3 2009; in Q3 2008, Tenet had a total net income of $104 million.
• The Dallas Morning News reports that despite Tenet's losses--which it blames mainly on rising unemployment levels--it still boosted it's year-end projections (it only lost $0.01 per share, when Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $0.02 per share).
