Highlights:

• UnitedHealth Group had revenues of $21.7 billion in the third quarter of this year, an increase from last year's $20.16 billion third-quarter revenues.
• Third-quarter net earnings were $.89 per share.

• Net earnings for UNH for the third-quarter of 2009 were $1.03 billion, up from $920 million in Q3 2008. Strong earnings in its pharmacy-benefit management unit helped to attain these numbers.
