Highlights:

• Net revenues for UHS increased 4 percent to $1.30 billion in Q3 2009, compared with $1.24 billion during the third quarter of 2008.
• Net income increased to $1.03 per share in Q3 2009 from $.73 per share in Q3 the previous year.
• Net income overall totaled $51.1 million, a 41 percent increase from Q3 2008, when net income totaled $37.0 million.
