Highlights:

• WellPoint had revenues of $15.4 billion in the third quarter of this year, an increase from last year's $14.9 billion in third-quarter revenues.
• Third-quarter net earnings were $1.53 per share.
• Net earnings for WLP for the third-quarter of 2009 were $730.2 million, down from $820.7 million in Q3 2008. Asset write-downs and declines in enrollment due to laid-off employees were partially responsible for these numbers.
